GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town to face Manchester United in FA Cup Fourth Round

YEOVIL TOWN have been given a Fourth Round tie at home to Manchester United in the FA Cup at Huish Park.

The Glovers – the lowest ranked club left in the world’s most famous club knockout cup competition, will face United at some point over the weekend of January 27-28, 2018.

Yeovil, of League Two, reached the Fourth Round of the cup for only the fourth time in the club’s history on Saturday (January 6, 2018) with a 2-0 success over League One outfit Bradford City at Huish Park.

The Fourth Round draw was made on Monday (January 8, 2018) evening - thanks to Dennis Wise and Rio Ferdinand picking out the numbers!

It will be a repeat of the Third Round tie of 2015 which United won 2-0 at Huish Park.

Yeovil have previously met United on two other occasions in the FA Cup – back in 1938 at the Third Round stage where they lost 3-0 and then in the Fifth Round in 1949 where they lost 8-0.
