GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town lose out at Carlisle United

YEOVIL Town fell to a 1-0 defeat at Carlisle United on Saturday (February 24, 2018) in the Sky Bet League Two.

A close first-half failed to produce a breakthrough for either team, but the all-important winning goal came just four minutes into the start of the second period when Hallam Hope netted for the home side.

It was a disappointing afternoon for the Glovers and despite the defeat they remained 17th in the League Two table.

But there were wins for fellow strugglers Barnet, Chesterfield, Morecambe, Forest Green Rovers and Crewe Alexandra to make things increasingly tight at the bottom.
