GLOVERS NEWS: Big game for Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town know that a win over Accrington Stanley at Huish Park on Saturday (March 18, 2017) would virtually guarantee their place in the Football League for another season.

The Glovers had been worryingly heading in the wrong direction since the turn of the year, but four points from their last two league games have steadied the ship.

And Yeovil boss Darren Way knows that a win over Accrington on Saturday afternoon would be a crucial step in the right direction.

Yeovil are down in 17th spot with the visitors’ just one place above them on goal difference, so it is very much a game which both sides will be looking at getting something from. Although it should be noted that Accrington – who beat Leyton Orient 5-0 midweek – are on a seven-game unbeaten run.

The kick-off is at 3pm.
