LIVE THEATRE: Annie the Musical with Yeovil Youth Theatre

THE Yeovil Youth Theatre will be celebrating its tenth anniversary later this month with an exciting production of Annie the Musical at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil.

The show will run from Tuesday, November 17, 2015, through to Saturday, November 21, 2015, nightly at 7.30pm with a 2.30pm matinee on Saturday.

Tickets are priced £16 each or £14 for concessions – while they will also cost £14 each for bookings of ten or more people.

The musical is set in 1930s New York during The Great Depression and brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan's orphanage.

Determined to find her real parents, her luck changes when she is chosen to spend Christmas at the residence of famous billionaire, Oliver Warbucks.

But spiteful Miss Hannigan has other ideas and hatches a plan to spoil Annie's search...

With its award-winning book and score, Annie includes the unforgettable songs; Hard Knock Life; Easy Street; I Don't Need Anything But You; and Tomorrow.

Jessamy Bowditch takes the lead role of Annie, while Olivia MacGregor will play Miss Hannigan.
