GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town face tough task at Pompey

YEOVIL Town face a tough trip to Fratton Park later today (Saturday, October 3, 2015) where they will face promotion-chasing Portsmouth.

The Glovers go into the game on the back of two successive defeats at home to Hartlepool United last Saturday (September 26, 2015) and the midweek reverse at Accrington Stanley.

Yeovil are currently well down the Sky Bet League Two table in 22nd spot, while Portsmouth are going well and are up in third.

Both teams have played ten matches this season so far and Portsmouth have amounted 19 points, as opposed to Yeovil’s seven.

The Glovers have been blighted by a terrible run of injuries, but manager Paul Sturrock has reported that the problems are easing and he has hinted that players who had been sidelined could soon be back in playing action.
