GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town face former favourite Paddy Madden once more

YEOVIL Town go in search of more vital points this afternoon (Saturday, February 28, 2015) in their attempts to get out of trouble at the bottom of the Sky Bet League One table.GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town face former favourite Paddy Madden once more

The Glovers are away at Scunthorpe United who include in their ranks former Yeovil favourite Paddy Madden.

The Irishman’s goals helped Yeovil to gain promotion to The Championship back in the 2012-13 season, but he moved to Scunthorpe just over a year ago.

He scored in the reverse fixture between the two sides at Huish Park earlier this season and he will again be a threat to the Glovers today.

But Yeovil will be looking to build on the 2-2 draw they gained against Gillingham last week at Huish Park – thanks to a stoppage-time penalty strike by substitute Adam Morgan.

Yeovil are currently bottom of the table, while Scunthorpe are up in 17th spot in the table where they have won six and lost eight of their home games. The Glovers trail their hosts today by 11 points in the table and have played a game more.

The Yeovil Press is delighted that former Glovers’ player, Dave Piper, now of AJ Supplies, sponsors Yeovil Town coverage on this website. For more details about AJ Supplies click on their logo-advert on the right-hand side of this website.
