MATCH DAY: Yeovil Town look for another three points – but will Paddy Madden spoil the afternoon?

YEOVIL Town are back in Sky Bet League One action this afternoon (Saturday, August 23, 2014) when they play host to Scunthorpe United at Huish Park.MATCH DAY: Yeovil Town look for another three points – but will Paddy Madden spoil the afternoon?

The Glovers have been buoyed following their determined 2-1 success at Walsall in mid-week, while visiting Scunthorpe have yet to get a point having lost all three of their opening league fixtures.

A win today would certainly push Yeovil up the table a few spots from their current 19th place.

But nobody needs reminding who Scunthorpe have got in their forward line – the former Yeovil hero Paddy Madden.

Madden scored 23 goals in 49 appearances for Yeovil, most notably in the promotion-winning season of 2012-13.

All of his goals came during that season including one at Wembley in the 2-1 Play-Off Final success over Brentford.

He made ten appearances for Yeovil in their season in The Championship in 2013-14 before moving to Scunthorpe where he helped them to promotion from League Two.
