ALTHOUGH mathematically Yeovil Town have yet to be officially relegated, Glovers boss Gary Johnson knows that it is inevitable.

The Glovers need something akin to a miracle to avoid the drop from the Sky Bet Championship following today’s (Monday, April 21, 2014) 2-1 defeat at home to Huddersfield Town.

Johnson, speaking after the game, said: “Although we are down, we’re looking at it philosophically and if we come back up we’ve got to be ready to be a bigger club.”

Yeovil’s lack of financial clout and lack of strength in depth in squad numbers proved decisive come the end.
