Wigan Athletic v Yeovil Town: Johnson looks for Glovers improvement

YEOVIL Town know that their task tonight (Tuesday, March 18, 2014) in the Sky Bet Championship clash at Wigan Athletic is going to be difficult.

Wigan are gunning for promotion and have made it through to the FA Cup Semi-Finals for the second successive year.

Yeovil, meanwhile, are desperate for points to help in their battle against relegation and would love to get something against Wigan tonight at the DW Stadium and make amends for the 3-0 defeat at QPR last weekend.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson said he and his players were looking forward to the challenge of the Wigan test.

“I was a bit disappointed about the nature of the result against QPR,” he told the BBC.

“Hopefully we can do something about it at Wigan, but being realistic, we know we’re going up there to play a top team.

“If we don’t know that, or if we’re anywhere below our best, then you lose the three points.”
