He was nominated for the award in 2013 for the way in which he had turned things around at Yeovil Town after returning to the club for a second spell as manager in January 2012.

He missed out on winning it last year, but there were celebrations tonight when he won the title for having led Yeovil to promotion from League One to the Sky Bet Championship.

Also nominated for the award were Eddie Howe, manager at AFC Bournemouth, and Paul Cook of Chesterfield.

The Yeovil Press would like to congratulate Gary Johnson on everything he has achieved for the club and wish him and everyone at Huish Park good luck for the rest of the season.

Keep the faith!
