Yeovil Town 1, Doncaster Rovers 0: Glovers go three games unbeaten

YEOVIL Town have now gone three games unbeaten in their bid to claw themselves out of trouble at the wrong end of the Sky Bet Championship.

James Hayter’s second-half penalty was enough to give Yeovil a vital win over visiting Doncaster Rovers at the weekend to follow-up successive home draws with Millwall and Watford.

And although Yeovil are still rooted at the foot of the table, the recent unbeaten run has given the Glovers hope.

“We showed great team spirit,” said Yeovil manager Gary Johnson following Saturday’s (February 22, 2014) win over Doncaster.

“Perhaps people will start talking about us now being unbeaten in three games.”

And Johnson added: “Everyone (the players) put in a shift today.”
