YEOVIL Town suffered further disappointment this afternoon (Sunday, February 2, 2014) in the Sky Bet Championship with a 3-1 defeat at Nottingham Forest.

The hosts gained the initiative in the 16th minute courtesy of an unfortunate Byron Webster own goal.

But Yeovil got back on level terms around ten minutes later when Kieffer Moore – back in the starting line-up with Ishmael Miller unavailable to play against his parent club as part of the loan agreement between Forest and the Glovers – equalised with a header.Nottingham Forest 3, Yeovil Town 1: Another long trip home for the Glovers

Forest regained the lead before the break, however, when Simon Cox fired past Yeovil keeper Marek Stech.

Yeovil had to make a change immediately after Forest went 2-1 up with injured Joe Ralls being replaced by Tom Lawrence who has joined the Glovers on loan for the rest of the season from Manchester United.

Jamie Paterson went close to extending Forest’s lead in the early stages of the second period, but his shot hit the post.

Yeovil had a few chances to go level, albeit no clear cut opportunities, but none came to fruition and then Forest completed the victory in stoppage time when substitute Rafik Djebbour netted.

It meant that Forest gained perfect revenge for the 3-1 defeat they suffered at Huish Park earlier this season.

And it meant that for the second time in a week the Glovers travelling home from the East Midlands with nothing to show for their efforts following on from their 3-2 defeat at DerbyCounty on Tuesday night.

Yeovil remain rooted at the bottom of the Championship table.
