Car auction centre given the go-ahead

PLANS for a car auction centre to be created on the edge of Yeovil have been given the green light.

South Somerset District Council has announced this week that proposals for the change of use of land and buildings to a car auction centre at the vacant Saracen Park at the junction of Lufton Way and Artillery Road - near to Yeovil Town FC - have been granted planning permission.

Details have stated that the proposals – put forward by Mr G. Stone – would create ten full-time and 25 part-time jobs for the area.
