Football: Volunteers needed TODAY at Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town FC have put out an urgent appeal for volunteers to go along this afternoon (Sunday, March 10) to help protect the Huish Park pitch from pending freezing weather.

Volunteers are asked to go along at 3pm today to help groundstaff put pitch covers onto the main playing surface to protect the ground in readiness for Tuesday's important npower League One clash with Crawley Town.

People can get into the stadium to help via the 'media' door which is to the left of the ticket office at Huish Park.

Weather forecasters are predicting freezing temperatures and possible snow over the next few days.

The club has said that any help forthcoming from supporters would be gladly welcomed.
