Football: Yeovil Town's Skivo must be having a laugh, surely?

YEOVIL Town assistant manager Terry Skiverton has been known to have a bit of a laugh every now and again but perhaps even he has stooped to new lows of ‘bad taste’ this week?

Skiverton, who has been relishing the role as assistant to Gary Johnson since January last year after a few years leading the club in which he miraculously staved off relegation, was the focus of attention for the regular ‘Spotlight On….’ feature in the Glovers’ matchday programme for yesterday's npower League One match with Scunthorpe United.

The feature asked him various questions about his personal likes and dislikes and some of his favourite things.

But no doubt eyebrows were raised when saw his answer to the question: Favourite TV pundit.

Most would have thought he would have gone for a football pundit such as Gary Lineker, Mark Lawrenson, Alan Hansen or Alan Shearer.

Think again!

Our Skivo named Jeremy Kyle, the presenter of daytime tabloid talk show Jeremy Kyle Show, as his favourite pundit.

The Jeremy Kyle Show is based on confrontations in which guests attempt to resolve squabbles with others that are significant in their lives such as family, relationships and other issues.

It makes even the most disenchanted and disruptive football dressing room seem like playschool.

But Skivo.....Jeremy Kyle? Really? We suggest that Skivo is having a laugh or he has far too much time on his hands if he can watch programmes like the Jeremy Kyle Show!
