Football: Walsall v Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town are back in npower League One action this afternoon when they travel to face struggling Walsall. Football: Walsall v Yeovil Town

Walsall have been on a terrible run of form where they have gone 15 games without a win, but Yeovil boss Gary Johnson is taking nothing for granted.

He knows, just like anybody else in League One, that there are no easy games in the division and that Walsall's long run without a victory will come to an end.

But Johnson is obviously hoping it does not come to an end today and Yeovil can pick up three valuable points in their quest to push for a play-off spot.

Johnson, speaking to the BBC, said he was hoping his side would show the positive form they displayed last week against Notts County in the 0-0 draw at Huish Park. All that was missing against County was a goal, but Yeovil found themselves up against a keeper in inspired form.

''If we can get near that kind of performance, or to that standard of commitment, then we'll give everybody a game,'' he said. ''That's what I've been trying to tell the lads all season.''
