Football: Walsall 2, Yeovil Town 2

A STOPPAGE TIME equaliser from Sam Foley gained Yeovil Town a point this afternoon in a 2-2 draw at Walsall in the npower League One.

The Glovers looked to be heading to defeat against a team who had gone 15 games without a victory when they found themselves 2-0 down with less than 20 minutes remaining of the fixture at the Bescot Stadium.

But Yeovil substitute Reuben Reid got on the scoresheet for the Glovers to reduce the deficit and then Foley levelled right at the death.

It was a great comeback from Yeovil, but Walsall will be gutted that their run without a win has now stretched to 16 matches.

Walsall had taken a 13th minute lead through Jamie Paterson and then Will Grigg doubled their advantage in the 72nd minute.

The result saw Yeovil drop one place in the League One table to 14th.
