Skittles: Huish Sports enjoy winning feeling in Nomination CupDIVISION Three basement side Huish Sports might still be looking for their opening win of the 2012-13 season in the Yeovil Sports Skittles League – but they finally enjoyed some success with victory in the opening round of the Nomination Cup for Divisions Three, Four and Five.

Huish Sports enjoyed a narrow ten-pin success over Split Pins, of Division Five, and now face Somerset Sports or Jets in the Second Round.

Divisions Three, Four and Five cup holders, Elite, of Division Five, scraped through to the Second Round in defence of their title with a close four-pin away win over Jesters.

League president Alan MacGregor was in good form Pacemakers, of Division Three, with 50 as his team enjoyed a comfortable 66-pin win away to Motiv Eight.

All other First Round winners have byes to the Third Round.
