The match gives the Glovers an early chance to return to winning ways after Tuesday night's 3-1 defeat to Stevenage.

Manager Gary Johnson was bitterly disappointed with the team’s second half display.

Johnson, speaking to the club's official website, said: “It was a game of two halves, for sure. It was unfortunate that we came in (during half time) at 1-1.

''We were a bit disappointed with the first goal, but we created chances and we were quite strong and we were certainly running the game.  Footbal: Yeovil Town look to bounce back

“But then when Stevenage came out, they made one change and started hitting it up to the centre-forward  who suddenly changed Stevenage's game a little bit, and it allowed them to get up and join in and put us under a little bit more pressure, and put us under more committed pressure, which they didn't in the first half.''

Johnson (pictured) added: “We were aware that they were going to do that, and we did explain it to the players but unfortunately there's still too much inexperience within our group to take it all on board.

“They're needing to have these experiences whilst they're learning, and it's costing us a little bit - well, not a little bit, but a lot!

“So that was what the difference was. We didn't create any real goalmouth incidents, and we didn't create anything that got the crowd behind us, albeit a small crowd. We didn't get shots and we just didn't have the opportunities, and that was really disappointing, because we were getting them in the first half.”

Just 2,900 attended Tuesday's game at Huish Park.
