Honour for Yeovil ATC cadet

A MEMBER of the Yeovil-based 1032 Squadron of the Air Training Corps has been appointed as a Lord Lieutenant Cadet for the next 12 months.   Honour for Yeovil ATC cadet

Cadet Flight Sergeant Zoe Wilson-Chalon, 17, received the honour during a ceremony at The Bishop's Palace in Wells.

As part of her role, she will accompany Lord Lieutenant for Somerset, Lady Gass JP, on her official engagements. Zoe was chosen on her merits within the cadet force, but also for her dedication and work within the local community.

Zoe has risen quickly through the ranks and is a determined and exceptional cadet.

A spokesman for the Yeovil-based 1032 Squadron of the ATC said: “Zoe is a mature, well-mannered and engaging cadet. As a Flight Commander of the Squadron she leads very well, getting the best from those in her charge.''
