Football: Tranmere Rovers 3, Yeovil Town 2

YEOVIL Town saw a two-goal lead wiped out yesterday at Prenton Park as npower League One leaders Tranmere Rovers bounced back to win 3-2.

The Glovers stunned the in-form Merseysiders by taking a ninth minute lead through loan signing Paddy Madden and then went 2-0 up when Sam Foley struck.

But Tranmere got back into the match before the interval when James Wallace reduced the deficit for the home side on the stroke of half-time.

Jake Cassidy levelled for Tranmere soon after the start of the second period and then Yeovil were reduced to ten men when full-back Joe Edwards was sent-off for a second bookable offence.

Moments later and Tranmere took the lead for the first time in the afternoon when Danny Holmes put them 3-2 up in the 79th minute.
