FIREFIGHTERS were called out last night to deal with an incident at the Recreation Ground at Middle Chinnock. The alarm was raised at just before 9.30pm to the incident and one fire engine from Crewkerne attended. A spokesman for the Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Service said: “Crews confirmed that the case of the fire was deliberate.” Police were informed.
