Police speed checks for September 16-22 in South Somerset

THE Safety Camera Partnership has announced that police will be out and about at various locations this week within South Somerset with their mobile speed detection equipment.

The police speed enforcement unit will be at the following locations from today (Monday, September 16) until Sunday (September 22).

A30 Henstridge (30mph).

A303 two miles west of Wincanton (70mph).

A303 three miles east of Sparkford (70mph).

A357 Templecombe (30mph).

B3153 Keinton Mandeville (30mph).

B3153 Langport Road, Somerton (30mph).

B3167 Perry Street (30mph).

Forton Road, Chard (30mph).

Main Street, Mudford (30mph).

Station Road, Tatworth (30mph).

Motorists are advised, however, that mobile enforcement may still take place at other locations within the area.
