GLOVERS NEWS: Heavy defeat for Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town crumbled to a demoralising 4-0 defeat at Carlisle United on Saturday (November 11, 2017) in the Sky Bet League Two.

The Glovers were thumped by goals from Danny Grainger (two), Hallam Hope and Shaun Miller.

Grainger broke the deadlock on seven minutes and then Hope made it 2-0 to Carlisle just before the interval.

Yeovil’s problems escalated on 73 minutes when Bevis Mugabi was sent-off for violent conduct and just moments later Grainger grabbed his second of the afternoon to make it 3-0.

The fourth and final goal of a sorry afternoon for the Glovers was conceded in time added-on when Miller netted.
