GLOVERS NEWS: Glovers Trust angry that club chairman unable to answer questions

THE Glovers Trust supporters’ group has written to Yeovil Town FC chairman John Fry talking of its “extreme disappointment” that he is unable to provide answers to a series of questions posed to him in a letter sent to him earlier this month.

The group had asked Mr Fry a series of questions about the club and its ownership, but was told that it would not be able to respond fully until the secretary of Yeovil Town Holdings Ltd had had a chance to look at the questions, but that person was currently away until the end of April.

Now the Glovers Trust has expressed his extreme disappointment and concern that a “single individual holds the answers to the majority of the questions posed and that the chairman does not appear to be willing to provide a response himself.”

The Trust Board has said it will continue to keep its members informed of any further developments.

The latest letter from the Glovers Trust to Yeovil Town chairman John Fry is as follows:

Dear Mr Fry

The Trust Board have had the opportunity of considering the response issued by Yeovil Town Football Club to our open letter which was received by you on Wednesday 5th April.

We were extremely disappointed to be informed that we would not receive a reply until after the end of the month due to the secretary being away.

The letter was addressed to yourself and thus we would expect a response from you, surely as the Chairman of Yeovil Town Football Club you know the answer to the straightforward questions posed and must be in a position to answer them immediately to ease the concerns of the supporters.   Glovers Trust members are waiting for your answers.
