LEISURE: Jesus Christ Superstar with YAOS

THE Yeovil Amateur Operatic Society is getting ready to take to the stage with its latest musical show – the amazing Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber production of Jesus Christ Superstar.

The show is being performed at the Octagon Theatre in Yeovil from Tuesday, March 28, 2017, 2017, through to Saturday, April 8, 2017.

This thrilling rock opera takes an impassioned look at Jesus’ last days as it tells the story of holy week from the point of view of Judas, who begins to question the motivations and methods of his friend and mentor.

The show is being directed by Jeremy Tustin and the musical director is Gill Merrifield.
