GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town look for points at Carlisle United

YEOVIL Town will look to get back to winning ways on Saturday (December 17, 2016) afternoon when they face Carlisle United.

The game at Carlisle’s Brunton Park is the Glovers’ longest away journey of the season and manager Darren Way would love to make the return trip to South Somerset with all three points in the bag.

Yeovil fell to their first League Two defeat for over two months last Saturday (December 10, 2016) and a 1-0 reverse at Huish Park to Barnet when the Glovers dominated the game, but failed to find the back of the net.

Way knows that the game at Carlisle United will be difficult with their hosts riding high in the table and are currently second behind leaders Plymouth Argyle.

They have also yet to lose at home having won seven and drawn three of their opening ten league fixtures played at Brunton Park.

Yeovil are currently down in tenth spot with 28 points from 20 games played – 11 points behind Carlisle.
