GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town throw away two goal lead

YEOVIL Town were left kicking themselves after being held to a draw on Saturday (November 5, 2016) in their FA Cup First Round tie with Solihull Moors at Huish Park.

The Glovers looked in total control at 2-0 up with goals from Ryan Hedges and Otis Khan.

But the game turned on its head just moments after Khan’s goal when Yeovil were reduced to ten men with Kevin Dawson sent-off for a second bookable offence on 55 minutes.

Jack Byrne reduced the deficit for the non-leaguers on 57 minutes and then he netted his second to draw level on 63 minutes.

Solihull nearly netted a late winner, but Yeovil held on for a draw and to fight another day.
