GLOVERS NEWS: Visiting keeper produces the saves to deny Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town fell to a second successive 1-0 defeat on Saturday (August 20, 2016) in the SkyBet League Two and it was another frustrating match for the Glovers.

While Yeovil were unable to breakdown the ten-men of Mansfield during the week, Saturday’s game saw the Glovers fail to get past in-form Morecambe keeper Barry Roche.

The shot-stopper produced a number of great saves to deny Yeovil with Kevin Dawson, Matt Dolan and Tom Eaves all seeing efforts stopped by the keeper.

It was inevitable, therefore, that Morecambe would go up the other end and score the all-important only goal of the game.

The match-winner came on 55 minutes through Kevin Ellison. The result saw Yeovil move down the table into 16th spot.

Next up for Yeovil Town – a trip to Goodison Park to face Everton on Tuesday (August 23, 2016) in the League Cup.
