GLOVERS NEWS: Amazing afternoon for Yeovil Town
THE 455 travelling Yeovil Town fans will long remember this memorable 4-3 League Two success at Barnet this afternoon (Saturday, April 30, 2016).
Yeovil found themselves 3-1 down with less than 30 minutes to go, but they bounced back in tremendous style to grab a dramatic victory.
Michael Gash gave Barnet a first-half lead and that was doubled from the penalty spot on 52 minutes by John Akinde.
Matty Dolan pulled a goal for the Glovers shortly afterwards, but Akinde restored Barnet’s two-goal advantage on 62 minutes.
Within second Nathan Smith had reduced the deficit with a rare goal for Yeovil and then Francois Zoko levelled for the Glovers on 76 minutes.
With time running out Yeovil staged a late breakaway and it was left to Harry Cornick to net the winner in stoppage time and give the Glovers an amazing 4-3 win.
