LEISURE: Yeovil Beer Festival is up and running

THE annual Yeovil Beer Festival is up and running and people have been descending on the Yeovil Showground site to tuck into more than 100 different beers and ciders.

The gates opened at 6pm and the festival will remain in full flow until midnight tonight (Friday, April 8, 2016) and then reopen tomorrow (Saturday, April 9, 2016) from midday right through until midnight.

Tickets are priced £6 for session and includes a Yeovil Beer Festival glass and programme.

Tokens for drinks are priced £1.50 each and these can be exchanged for half-a-pint of beer or cider.

This is the fourth annual festival and promises to be bigger and better than ever before.

The community event is a joint venture between Yeovil Round Table, Lions Club of Yeovil and staff and students of Yeovil College.
