GLOVERS NEWS: No Boxing Day joy for Yeovil Town

YEOVIL Town suffered Boxing Day disappointment at Plymouth Argyle this afternoon (Saturday, December 26, 2015) as they went down 1-0.

The only goal of the game came on 59 minutes when Yeovil keeper Chris Weale could only parry a Craig Tanner effort into the path of Ryan Brunt who made no mistake from close range.

Yeovil’s best chance of getting on the scoresheet against the League Two title contenders came in the first-half when midfielder Matt Dolan saw a long range effort hit the bar.
