LEISURE: Auditions for Castaway Theatre Group's The Wizard of Oz

THE Yeovil-based Castaway Theatre Group is holding auditions today (Saturday, December 12, 2015) for its biggest production to date – The Wizard of Oz.

The ever-popular Yeovil group will be performing The Wizard of Oz at the Octagon Theatre from June 2-4, 2016.

The famous musical – starring Dorothy, the Lion, Scarecrow and Tin Man – will be directed by Lynn Lee Brown with Matthew Holmes as musical director and Kirsty Beaumont as choreographer.

Audiences will be dazzled as the Castaways take you on a musical journey Somewhere Over the Rainbow with this spectacular production.

The production will be held at 7.30pm each evening along with a 2.30pm matinee performance on Saturday, June 4, 2016.

The Castaways have already performed a number of medleys from The Wizard of Oz in various shows and already it looks like it is going to be a production you will not want to miss.
