GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town battle back for a point

TWO goals in the final ten minutes saw Yeovil Town battle back to gain a point this afternoon (Saturday, December 12, 2015) in a 2-2 draw at home with Barnet.

Striker Francois Zoko netted both goals for the Glovers to set-up a thrilling finale after the game looked to be all over at half-time with Barnet taking a two-goal lead thanks to a brace from Aaron McLean.

But despite the spirited fight-back the result leaves the Glovers still in the relegation zone – although they have moved off the foot of the table following York City’s defeat at Bristol Rovers.

The result does not really help Yeovil’s interim manager Darren   Way and his aspirations of being awarded the job on a full-time basis.

But – more importantly – it leaves the Glovers still deep in trouble and still without a League Two victory since the 1-0 success at Crawley Town on September 19, 2015.

Yeovil have failed to pick-up a three-point haul in their following 12 League Two outings with a woeful record of eight defeats and four draws. Four points from a possible 36 – awful and has “relegation” written all over it.
