GLOVERS NEWS: YeovilTown lose at Accrington Stanley

YEOVIL Town went down to a 2-1 defeat last night (Tuesday, September 29, 2015) at Accrington Stanley.

The Glovers were always on the back foot in this Sky Bet League Two encounter and went behind on eight minutes when Josh Windass gave Accrington the lead.

But Yeovil got back on level terms in the closing stages of the first-half when SwanseaCity loanee Josh Sheehan equalised on 35 minutes – the Glovers’ first strike on target.

Despite the revival, it was Accrington who regained the initiative on 54 minutes when Matt Crooks scored with a well-taken 25-yard effort which curled past Yeovil keeper Artur Krysiak.
