LEISURE: Raising the roof of Sherborne Abbey to raise funds for Yeovil Hospital
THE Yeovil-based Octagon Choir will be among the choirs helping to raise the roof of Sherborne Abbey next month to raise funds for the Second CT Scanner at Yeovil District Hospital.
The Elisa-Marie Henley Charity Choral Celebration will feature a selection of local school choirs from Sherborne, plus the Octagon Choir, Phoenix Voices and the People’s Choir.
The concert takes place from 7.30pm at Sherborne Abbey on Saturday, September 19, 2015.
Tickets are priced £12.50 each or £20 to include pre-concert drinks and canapés.

The inspiration for the event is married mother of three young children Elisa-Marie Henley, who is terminally ill with breast cancer.
