LEISURE: Don’t be late for a very important date!

THE wonderful story of Alice in Wonderland will be brought to life this week – thanks to members of the Yeovil Amateur Pantomime Society.

The show – based on the famous book written by Lewis Carroll – will be performed at Westfield Academy in Yeovil on Friday, July 3, 2015, and Saturday, July 4, 2015.

There will be nightly performances at 7.15pm along with a 2.30pm matinee.

Tickets are priced £8 and available from 0777-2260-570.

Although the show is a YAPS production, it is predominantly the junior members of the society who will be taking centre stage.

There will be all the characters associated with Alice in Wonderland including the Queen of Hearts, the White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, the March Hare and, of course, Alice herself.

The cast is more than 50-strong and under the leadership of Steve Hentschel and Flic Kerile.
