GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town boss signs two-year deal

YEOVIL Town manager Paul Sturrock has today (Tuesday, May 26, 2015) signed a two-year contract with the Glovers.

The experienced manager was drafted in at the tale end of last season in order to start preparations with Yeovil already facing up to life in League Two for the 2015-16 campaign.

But it was not until today that he actually put pen to paper.

“There have been more important things on the agenda to deal with,” he told the media at HuishPark.

“It hasn’t really been in my thoughts, but I’m delighted that it is now sorted.”

He added that he was also pleased to announce that Terry Skiverton and Darren Way – who had been looking after team affairs prior to Sturrock’s arrival – would be staying at the club.

“It’s a positive thing that we’ve got a good management team,” said Sturrock. “I’ve been very impressed with the two boys here. They are totally committed to the club.”

Club chairman John Fry said: “It’s going to be a really tough job. Paul has got a big job to do and I am confident he will do it.”
