GLOVERS NEWS: Yeovil Town face final home game of season

YEOVIL Town will be hoping to make it three successive Sky Bet League One victories on the bounce today (Saturday, April 25, 2015) in their final home match of the 2014-15 season.

The Glovers have had a disastrous season and are already facing up to life in League Two next season following relegation.

But there has been an uplift in fortunes following the arrival of new manager Paul Sturrock starting with a draw and then two successive victories.

Today’s visitors to Huish Park are Port Vale who, despite being up in 18th spot in the table, are not yet mathematically assured of their League One spot for next season.

A win for Yeovil would continue them finishing the disappointing campaign on a high, while victory for Port Vale would give them the points needed to confirm League One status.

With it being Yeovil’s last home game of the campaign the annual player-of-the-season awards will take place after the game.
