MATCH DAY: Yeovil Town need a win

YEOVIL Town go into this afternoon’s (Saturday, November 23, 2014) clash at Notts County looking to end a run of eight games without a win in the Sky Bet League One.

The Glovers have moved to the bottom of the League One table following a bad run of results which have seen them record two draws and six defeats their last eight outings.

The last time Yeovil gained a three-point haul was a 1-0 win over Peterborough United at HuishPark back on September 20, 2014.MATCH DAY: Yeovil Town need a win

But signs have been encouraging of late, despite the slide to the bottom of the table. Yeovil put in a good performance last week at home against Fleetwood Town and were undone by a late winner by the visitors.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson, speaking to the BBC ahead of today’s game, said: “It was a good performance against Fleetwood and it’s up to the whole team to get goals on the board.

“Over the last three games, I feel our form is good enough to go to Notts County and get a win.”

While Yeovil’s defence has looked a lot more solid in recent performances, the Glovers are still finding it hard to score goals.
