CARNIVAL: South Somerset parade circuit gets underway
THE opening Carnival of the 2014 season on the South Somerset circuit gets underway tonight (Saturday, September 27, 2014).
The Wellington procession will get the season started tonight and will be followed by Ilminster (Saturday, October 4, 2014), Chard (Saturday, October 11, 2014) and then Taunton (Saturday, October 18, 2014).
Thousands of people are expected to line the streets for the four Carnivals and be dazzled by the lights, creativity and ingenuity of the clubs and Carnivalites involved.
