PLAYER NEWS: Luke Ayling thanks everyone at Yeovil Town

FORMER Yeovil Town defender Luke Ayling has thanked everyone at Huish Park for their support.

Ayling yesterday (Tuesday, July 8, 2014) signed a three-year deal with Yeovil’s Sky Bet League One rivals Bristol City after deciding against signing a new contract with the Glovers.

Although he is now no longer a part of the Yeovil set-up, Ayling had a special message to those he is leaving behind in South Somerset.

Speaking on social networking Twitter, Ayling said: “Firstly I would like to thank everybody at #YTFC for a great four years; I enjoyed every minute.

“Fans, players and staff were fantastic.”

But he added: “But now I start a new chapter in my football career with Bristol City. Can’t wait to get started – thank you for all your tweets everyone.”
