IMEX 2014: Evening music at The Minster

THERE will be a fantastic evening of music and singing at The Minster on Thursday (June 5, 2014) – the first day of this year’s Ilminster Midsummer Experience.

The popular Ilminster choir Serenade will be singing folk and pop songs from both South Africa and Ireland.

The Ilminster Belles, a young women’s choir, will sing special three-part arrangements of Beatles and other songs.

Courtenay Yeoell, a singing star of the future, will sing solos of her choice; while also performing will be local group Heart and Soul and other artistes to give the audience the best of Ilminster song.

The performance will start at 7.30pm – all seats are unreserved.

Tickets cost £5 or £3 for under-18s with proceeds in aid of The Minster and can be bought from Lanes Garden Shop in Silver Street or fro Sheila Wade on 01460-52462.
