Latvians are heading for Yeovil Town!

YEOVIL Town have announced this morning (Friday, November 1, 2013) that they will be hosting a friendly later this month with the Latvian international team.

The Latvians will be taking on the Glovers in a friendly at Huish Park on Monday, November 18, with a 7.30pm kick-off.

Yeovil Town manager Gary Johnson, as fans will know, was the Latvian manager before first arriving in South Somerset back in the summer of 2001.

Latvia are managed by former Southampton striker Marian Pahars. Johnson played a key role in seeing Pahars join the Saints in 1999.

The Latvians will be playing the Republic of Ireland in Dublin on November 15 before heading to Huish Park three days later to face Yeovil.

Yeovil Town officials have said that ticket information will be available in the coming days.
