ALTHOUGH deeply disappointed at conceding a controversial last-gasp equaliser yesterday (Saturday, September 28) at the Reebok Stadium, Yeovil Town can go into this Tuesday’s match with Leicester City in the Sky Bet Championship at Huish Park with plenty of confidence.Football: Bolton Wanderers 1, Yeovil Town 1: Glovers can take positives

Yeovil were denied a much-needed win yesterday at Bolton Wanderers when the home side scored in stoppage time to salvage a 1-1 draw.

And Yeovil boss Gary Johnson, speaking to the press after the game, said: “We’ve got to be careful that you don’t get too carried away with being disappointed with a point at Bolton.

“We’re disappointed because we were 1-0 up.”

Johnson said that Ed Upson’s 79th minute opener came when his side were beginning to take control of proceedings.

“I thought at that time we looked the most likely to score and I was very pleased with our play during that time in the game,” he said. “We definitely took the game to them. We looked the stronger and we got the goal.”
