ON this day in history on September 24, 2002, Yeovil Town beat Woking 4-0 at Huish Park in the Nationwide Conference.
Yeovil’s goals were scored by Abdoulai Demba, Michael McIndoe, Terry Skiverton and Howard Forinton.
A crowd of 4,003 was at Huish Park for the game. It was Yeovil’s first game of the season at Huish Park with them having played their opening ‘home’ games at Dorchester Town with HP out of action due to a new pitch being laid.
The game was also screened live on Sky Sports.
