Football: Marek Stech still three weeks away from returning at Yeovil Town

Football: Marek Stech still three weeks away from returning at Yeovil TownGOALKEEPER Marek Stech is still several weeks away from being back available for playing duty with Yeovil Town in the Sky Bet Championship.

Stech suffered a hand injury in the second match of the Championship season early in the clash with Birmingham City on August 10 at Huish Park.

Yeovil boss Gary Johnson said that the keeper had “three weeks to go” before he was ready to return to playing.

Johnson confirmed that he would be having talks with Wolverhampton Wanderers about retaining the services of loan keeper Wayne Hennessey for a further month.

“We hope to keep him for another month,” said the Yeovil gaffer. “We want to keep him. It will be good for him and good for us.”

Johnson also said he was pleased with the way current reserve keeper Chris Dunn had fitted in to the Huish Park way of life.
