Skittles: Yeovil Summer League news and results from June 3

STAR of the week in the Yeovil Summer Skittles League was John Dyke who hit a brilliant 67 for second-placed Choppers in Division One who thrashed Kingpins by 37 pins.

In Division Two, Floppers ended Old Barn Club’s winning run. In a high scoring match of 626 pins there were seven men or merit with G. Bryan (61) and Adrian Carpenter (59) leading the way to a 20-pin victory for Floppers.

Alley Cats moved into top spot in Division Three with a 46-pin win over Half Pints and Fleur De Lys ended Alley Floppers’ winning run with a 17-pin away win.

Three teams are level on six points in Division Four. Missing Lynx have a four-pin advantage over Yeovil Sports Club with Pinheads a further 35-pins behind.

It is a similar picture in Division Five where Pin Butchers lost for the first time at home to new team Flidstocks.

Labour Club had their third win on the trot with an easy win over Fire Dragons.
