Easter fun at Yeovil Country Park

THERE will be plenty of family fun on Wednesday, April 10, when an Easter Egg-stravaganza is held at Yeovil Country Park.Easter fun at Yeovil Country Park

This FREE event for families will run from 10am to 3pm on the flat grassy area near Goldenstones.  There is no need to book a place, just turn up on the day and have fun.

Take part in the Easter egg trail up into the wood to find the Easter bunny and win an Easter egg.

Collect the trail leaflet from the Friends of Yeovil Country Park stall opposite Goldenstones.

The trail starts at the stall and will take approximately one hour to complete so the latest start time will be 2pm.

Please note that the route is suitable for adventurous pushchair users but not suitable for wheelchairs/mobility vehicles.

Join in with free activities taking place on the meadows including arts and crafts, bug hunting, pond dipping, willow crafts, storytelling and RSPB activities.

Light refreshments will be available.

The event is being organised by the Friends of Yeovil Country Park in conjunction with the countryside team at South Somerset District Council.

The Friends of YCP formed in January 2012 and has received £400 of funding from Yeovil Round Table.

The council match-funded and this Easter the money is being used to fund the Easter Egg-stravaganza in the CountryPark.
