The loan deal will see Fletcher, who turned 22 yesterday, stay with the Glovers' for at least a month and add an extra dimension to boss Gary Johnson's attacking options.

His arrival also comes with experienced Yeovil frontman James Hayter struggling with a foot injury ahead of tomorrow's important npower League One match with Tranmere Rovers at Huish Park.

Rovers are currently third in the table, while the Glovers are sixth - both clubs know it is a massive game.

It is expected that Fletcher, who has only made two senior appearances for Burnley since coming through the club's youth team, will go straight into the squad for tomorrow's fixture.

He has gained Football League experience in previous loan spells at Crewe Alexandra, Accrington Stanley, Stockport County and Grimsby Town.
